Safety belt for dogs
The GreenDog safety belt for dogs comes in four sizes and two colours. Please study the further information about the offer of sizes and manner of use of the safety belt.
The GreenDog safety belt for dogs ensures your dog’s safety in your car in the case of impact or abrupt stopping. It restricts uncontrolled movement of the dog in the car and enables you to concentrate fully on your driving.
In the case of impact or abrupt stopping, an unbuckled dog becomes a dangerous object which can seriously injure persons sitting in the car. In a car crash at a speed of 50 km/h the dog is thrown from its place with the force of thirty times its weight. For example, a dog weighing 20 kg impacts with a force of 600 kg.
The safety belt thus protects not only your dog but also you and the other passengers in the car. At the same time it is designed so as not to hamper the comfort of your dog during transit.

What to take into consideration when choosing the size of your dog’s safety belt
You can buy the GreenDog safety belt in the standard
sizes XS (extra small),
S (small), M (medium) and L (large). These sizes cover 90% of dog
breeds.
The GreenDog safety belt is attached to the existing safety belt in the car. For this reason it can be used in any type of car. The Green Dog safety belt is attached by lacing the car safety belt in a loop on the rear side of the Green Dog safety belt.
The GreenDog safety belt is made from high strength polyester, which is used in the production of ordinary car safety belts. The dog’s thorax is perfectly encompassed by cushioning, produced from a special foam material which ensures maximum comfort for your dog. In the case of impact or abrupt stopping this cushioning prevents serious injury to the dog’s chest area.
The GreenDog safety belt is perfectly balanced. In this manner it conveys the pressure ensuing in the case of impact or abrupt stopping to the entire volume of the safety belt, and not only part thereof. Belts are made from high strength polyester, which ensures that they are of sufficient strength.
The GreenDog safety belt is easily and quickly fitted. First set the length of the belt to the maximum size (only during the first fitting). Undo the rear two quick-fasteners and place the safety belt over the dog’s head with the cushioned side in the direction of the dog’s chest. Fasten the rear two quick-fasteners and adjust the length of the belt to the volume of the dog’s chest, so that the belt closely fits over the entire volume of the dog’s thorax. The distance of the safety belt can be adjusted by pulling equally on the free ends of the belt in all four quick fastening points.
